From the Seller:

It was the mid-2000s when I first saw Jeremy Clarkson climbing atop an old Toyota Hilux in an episode of Top Gear titled ‘Is the Toyota Hilux Really Indestructible?’ Following that dramatic showcase, the idea of owning a Hilux lingered in my mind. Over the years, I owned various Toyotas and drove a range of Hiluxs and Land Cruisers during my travels abroad, further solidifying my fascination. When I began my search for a Hilux from Japan, I had specific criteria in mind: classic white, diesel engine, manual transmission, and the claw-hook bed. These features were crucial for a straightforward, utilitarian truck, which is the essence of a Toyota Hilux. After 25 years, many of these base-model trucks are beaten and abused or have rusted away, making my search all the more challenging. Eventually, I found a Hilux that I imported. I cherish this truck for its simplicity and iconic looks.”
