2021 Ford F-250 Tremor :: Classifieds

The F-250 is one of the most popular full-size pickups on the forum with recent overland equipped offerings, including this 1993 service body with a 1973 Alaskan camper, 1997 with an Outfitter Caribou camper, and 2024 Super Duty XL with a Bison camper. Cue today’s low-mileage 2021 Ford F-250 (22,000 miles), which showcases the desirable Godzilla gas motor and a plethora of premium aftermarket upgrades. Ford’s Tremor package takes the already capable F-250 and uprates it with rugged backcountry features that include heavy-duty suspension, a rear locker, armor, and intelligent onboard trail systems. It was for these reasons and more that it was awarded the Editor’s Choice Award in Overland Journal’s Full-size Truck of the Year. Publisher Scott Brady states, “The Tremor won the Editor’s Choice because it delivers on everything we need a full-size truck to be: capable and durable, with the payload to haul any reasonable overland load or camper.” Subsequently, there’s no shortage of inspiring Tremor builds online, including rigs from Roaming Lost, TFL Offroad, and CJC Offroad. From the Seller:

This truck was the perfect platform to haul my 2,000-pound hardwall camper. The camper is sold, so the truck is ready for a camper or other conversion. It hauled the camper and the rest of our gear extremely well. I’m the second owner and purchased the truck 100 percent stock at 3,000 miles, CA only, with no accidents, and a clean title in hand. Ford’s pre-paid premium service plan is transferable and included. All standard maintenance is no-cost. Last serviced at the dealer 5/6/24. No issues or outstanding recalls. The 7.3 ‘Godzilla’ gas Tremor F-250 10-speed is, in my opinion, one of the best truck platforms as it’s mechanically identical to the F-350, has high payload, reliability, simplicity, power, and is relatively lightweight. Additionally, depending on your home state’s policies, you can save on registration and insurance compared to an F-350.”

The F-250 is fitted with the 7.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 that produces 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a 10-speed transmission. In addition to a long-lived engine and drivetrain, the Tremor is exceptional when the tarmac ends courtesy of 4WD, 4.30 gears with rear locker, front limited-slip differential, 33-inch water fording capability, 2-inch factory lift, skid plates, fender flares, a high clearance front bumper, rock sliders, and intelligent onboard systems such as trail cruise control, hill descent control, and trail turn assist. These rugged credentials are balanced with a well-equipped interior with driver comforts that include:
