So many pro's to hit trails with a ATV or UTV or SxS versus your vehicle. Why? One of the biggest reasons is many people drive the vehicle they are off-roading and when that breaks you have no way home and costs start piling up. With a ATV or UTV or SxS you trailer it to your destination, beat it up and/or do whatever and even if it happens to break, you can get it back to the trailer and you still have a ride home.
I've owned many of the top brands in ATV, UTV and SxS and I have my pers

What is the street scene? It's focusing on muscle cars, low riders, Dairy Queeners (offroad looking trucks that don't drive even on dirt roads), drag racing, circle tracks and more. You probably get the gist. The street community is all about beauty on the asphalt.
Personally I've always been a huge muscle car fan. Went through my phases of owning several classic muscle cars. Here you can share your projects or builds. Talk in the garage and maybe help someone out if they have questio
At some moment in your life you were introduced to the world of offroad and if you were like me, you fell in love with it. The challenges, the obstacles and tackling a course that looks impossible to the untrained eye. Something so peaceful when exploring areas not many could get to or want to.
Here at Gear Crushers off-roading is just one of the many passions we have and we want to provide an area that everyone from anywhere in the world can contribute. The easiest is to create a club a
A common issue with the GM 6.6L Duramax engine is white smoke at idle. Worn and damaged injectors are often the cause however there are other causes and considerations that should be looked at prior to injector replacement.

It's the dreaded 7-Way RV plug that we all have come to know and love. Most new vehicles equipped with a tow package have connectors. Trailers with electric brakes need them too. The 7-Way Trailer Plug is a round 2" diameter connector that allows an additional pin for an auxiliary 12-volt power or backup lights. It is usually used for towing a heavy-duty landscaping trailer, car trailer, boat trailer, horse trailer, travel trailer, construction trailer, and larger trailers
My wife and I are freezing our asses off in our own home unless I crank the furnace up to 68 degrees which is crazy to think. I remember as a kid we were never cold in the house but we always had a wood burner in the home (most of the homes it was in the basement). It would get some warm in the house that windows had to be opened in the home in the middle of winter to let out some of the hot and let in some of the cool weather.
So now I'm a grown up and freezing my ass off in this home th
So, I do Robotics. 2017 was the first year for me and I was exited to get started. But of corse it took forever to start. Very boring at first. All we talked about was the game and none about the robot it self. After like a week of it we finally started talking and planning out but I did not help much because they are on the second year of robotics and its only my first. We were the first middle school group that made it to states but unfortunately we did not win to compete against the high scho

Occasionally I have to rent a vehicle and when you go to the Kansas City Airport and rent from National you get a pretty nice selection.
This week I chose a new 2017 Chevy Colorado. My sister has one and she likes it.

So for a year or two I have been looking for a Point of Sale system that accomodates all my needs which isn't alot but most POS's are focused on the restaurant business or retail and thats pretty much it. We end up having to try and make one or the other work for events. I'll start off with the requirements then work give a review of each POS I've tried so far.
Let's first start with my least liked POS but it didn't start that way...
At the beginni
I'm just like most people and want to find ways to save money. For our family we don't watch that much TV and television now adays seem to be mostly commercials. Got introduced to Netflix many years ago and still have a running membership today. Now that Netflix has there own shows and movies with no commercials is pretty awesome. They also have last season shows all included with no commercials so if you can wait a year, its great watching a show with no commercials. I find commercials dis
When you get a new RV for the first time or just getting back into RV camping, its hard to know everything you need. Below is a base list of things you may need and could be used as a baseline when you are packing. Feel free to add items in the comments to keep building the list.

So I'll preface that I'm primarily a Mac user but that doesn't mean I am automatically onboard with putting all my documents on iCloud Drive.
I have used Dropbox first, then Google Drive and iCloud Drive. I have no interest in using Microsoft OneDrive solution since Microsoft has a hard enough time keeping there Azure network up, there Live and Hotmail accounts not hacked, they have just proven time and time again how unreliable Microsoft has been in the cloud environment so far. My docum
I ran into some fan issues on my 2012 Macbook Pro and I'm sure its because its been in some pretty dirty places. Had the fan replaced at Apple for $100 but thought it may be time to upgrade. Also it allowed me to give my wife a very nice laptop that is still working in great order. She loves working with photos and thought she would enjoy using a laptop that doesn't limp along.
So this very second my new Macbook Pro (2017) just arrived via UPS so I'm going to save and close this entry so
this is my first post in my blog and first time in Gear Crushers and uploaded a lot of photos on GearCrushers.com. My brother won his first time in wrestling and got third place. He won 2 times and lost 2 so he got lucky this time but next time he will have to try harder next time to get 2nd or even 1st place.

In 1998, General Motors and Isuzu teamed up to establish engine manufacturer DMAX Ltd to create a brand-new diesel engine that would be the first high-pressure common-rail, direct-injection powerplant to hit the U.S. vehicle market.
2000 – GM debuts the LB7 Duramax diesel engine with 300 hp and 520 lb-ft torque in ’01 ¾- and 1-ton trucks. The 6.6L V-8 turbodiesel engine featured aluminum heads with 32 valves on a cast-iron block, hig
I know Ford used Caterpillar Diesel Engines in some older Ford trucks and I was curious who owns Caterpiller and I was very surprised to find out that Caterpillar engines are copies of the Cummins motor and also a Cummins owned company.
Now who owns Cummins? No one does, they own themselves. Ram was the first company to come to Cummins and ask for them to make a diesel fo their trucks which produced the first light duty truck in 1989. This is the same engine that was found in Case agricu
LB7 is 300 hp (injector issues, but there are upgraded replacements;5 speed trans)
LLY is 310 hp ( some over heating issues that upgrades can resolve, some say is a detuned LBZ;5 speed trans)
LBZ is 360 hp (great and modded easily;6 speed trans)
LMM is 365 hp (great, but has the dpf but mods bring out its true potential, pistons may not handle extreme hp very well 600+hp;6 speed trans)
Clessie Cummins worked as a chauffeur and mechanic for William Irwin, a banker in Columbus, Indiana. Although he had no formal education beyond the eighth grade, Cummins had a keen knack for the mechanical, which was noticed by Irwin. Legend has it that when Cummins was only 11 years old, he built his own steam engine from molten cast iron he poured into wooden blocks that served as molds. His homebuilt steam engine was used to pump water for his father's farm.
Cummins was convinced diesels
Here is something interesting that many don't know about Electric Vehicles. Why do people move to electric vehicles because its not to save money since they cost much much more than internal combustion engines. Its not to save the planet since more than 80% of electricity we use is from coal burning power plants (so actually you are creating more of an issue by increasing the demand of the coal plants). EVEN if you "thought" your power from the wind power plants is what gave you your needed e
I followed this recipe for our turkey this year and some of the pickest eaters said this was the best turkey "THEY EVER HAD"
I will be using this recipe next year for sure. It was VERY VERY delicious.
I used Apple wood chunks I stuck in the corners of the BGE that would smolder eventually and I cooked at 275 for about 4 hours. Every hour I sprayed with Canola Oil to help keep that skin crispy. I used the Killer Hogs A.P. seasoning and Zataranns Creole Seasoning instead of following
Thanksgiving I smoked two 14lb turkeys following this recipe with Cherry wood and everyone loved it. This is my Thanksgiving Turkey recipe every year which is why I'm following this recipe so I don't loose it.
Had a beautiful smoke ring on Turkey when cut into it. Awesome!
BGE pre-warmed to 300 as instructed (you said 275-300 so figured with two I should take the warmer side of 300)
As your recipe suggested, I then got the turkeys ready with a good wash to get rid of the br
