So many pro's to hit trails with a ATV or UTV or SxS versus your vehicle. Why? One of the biggest reasons is many people drive the vehicle they are off-roading and when that breaks you have no way home and costs start piling up. With a ATV or UTV or SxS you trailer it to your destination, beat it up and/or do whatever and even if it happens to break, you can get it back to the trailer and you still have a ride home.
I've owned many of the top brands in ATV, UTV and SxS and I have my pers
At some moment in your life you were introduced to the world of offroad and if you were like me, you fell in love with it. The challenges, the obstacles and tackling a course that looks impossible to the untrained eye. Something so peaceful when exploring areas not many could get to or want to.
Here at Gear Crushers off-roading is just one of the many passions we have and we want to provide an area that everyone from anywhere in the world can contribute. The easiest is to create a club a
So what the heck is Gear Crushers all about? In short, we have so many passions that we couldn't pick just one. We love all of it! Too many websites and clubs are focused on one passion but we like everything. We believe we can love more than just one passion.
How many times have you gone to a website and invested time in adding and contributing to the community to have them change or just call it quits. Or you belong to a website that never gets updated.. yawn. We are tired of bein
Are you one of guys or girls that want to travel the world on a motorcycle or hit the trails on your dirt bike. We feel ya and that's why we have some clubs and blogs focused just on Bikes.

What is the street scene? It's focusing on muscle cars, low riders, Dairy Queeners (offroad looking trucks that don't drive even on dirt roads), drag racing, circle tracks and more. You probably get the gist. The street community is all about beauty on the asphalt.
Personally I've always been a huge muscle car fan. Went through my phases of owning several classic muscle cars. Here you can share your projects or builds. Talk in the garage and maybe help someone out if they have questio

This was a great video that I wanted to share of some Full Size vehicles hitting the Rubicon which is so well known for Jeeps tackling it but not so well known for Full Size monsters tackling the obstacle.
Although all of Chevrolet's siblings of the period (Buick, Cadillac, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, and Holden) designed their own V8s, it was the Chevrolet 305 and 350 cu in (5.0 and 5.7 L) small-block that became the GM corporate standard. Over the years, every American General Motors division except Saturn and Geo used it and its descendants in their vehicles.
In 1991, GM created a new-generation small-block engine called the "LT1 350", distinct from the high-output Generation I LT-1 of the 1970s.

What do you use offroad to keep track of where you are going, where you've been?
I've used GAIA for the trail riding I've done and its worked pretty good. Is it perfect? No but I am running it on my iPhone (which you can also run it on any Android or iOS device with GPS) and so I don't need to have multiple charge ports (1 for a GPS unit, 1 for my phone).. just keep it charged and hundreds of possible mounts for a phone versus a certain GPS unit.
NOW the negatives, obviously an iPhon
This is pretty cool and wanted to share the video. Not sure how to describe it besides looks like a lot of fun but it does have 140hp on land and water. That could be fun!
Speed on Land is around the average of 50mph which is usually enough to have some fun on the trails
Speed on Water is around 45mph which also can be fun.
Fuel Capacity is 15 gallons

4 wheel disc brakes
Cleaning the air filter on your ATV is one crucial maintenance measure a rider should take. The presence and function of the air intake in a vehicle are so vital that once it gets damaged, the vehicle engine potentially becomes exposed to all manner of things.
If you don’t have enough information on how to clean an ATV air filter, below is a compiled essential tips to follow to achieve a great result with little or no cost.
Why You Need to Clean Air Filter

The question that seems to popup a lot is whether or not to get a lift pump. What happens if the lift pump fails, am I stuck? Can I get filters anywhere or is it online order only? Why spend the money? How long will the pump last before it needs to be replaced? Do I need a sump installed on my tank if I get a lift pump?

This is the 20th Ultimate Adventure since the original hardcore off-road event began in 1999 and this year the group kicks off from Kalispell, Montana and heads to the challenging Blacktail Wild Bill OHV Area which is one of the only off-road vehicle parks located inside a national forest. With a mix of natural and man-made off-road obstacles ranging from mild to wild, participants jumped into UA2020 driving a mix of unique and highly built Jeeps, vans, pickups, and 4x4 creations
I have been researching Side by Sides and have some experience with owning a 2019 Can-Am 1000 Maverick Trail. We very much enjoyed our Can-Am but because of unfortunate events that happened in our life we had to part ways and need to get rid of debt as quick as possible so gave it away for way less than I put into it but it went to a good home in Montana.
So notes I would mention in regards to the Can-Am Maverick Trail 1000 DPS I would mention that the 50" wide SxS, no matter what bra
A common issue with the GM 6.6L Duramax engine is white smoke at idle. Worn and damaged injectors are often the cause however there are other causes and considerations that should be looked at prior to injector replacement.

I found this information pretty interesting and wanted to share with everyone else.

The OICA counts over 50 countries which assemble, manufacture or disseminate automobiles. Of that number, only 14 countries (list below) currently possess the capability to design original production automobiles from the ground up.
I want to start this blog by letting everyone know I have no idea what I'm doing but wanted to share in my experience with taking care of the bodywork on my 1964 Chevy Truck. (not the one in this image but I do want this light olive paint color)

Maybe one day I could be this cool. Seriously what an opportunity for anyone who enjoys the ultimate adventure in your rig. Pushing your pride and joy to its limits to see what it can handle with a group that has the same goal. How awesome!
Tomorrow (2021-07-20) getting my two front seats fixed so they have some padding. I think a spring or something is poking the passenger in the ass and the drivers side feels as though a big man use to drive the truck and a big sag in the middle of the seat. Anyhow, its not super comfy at the moment so if I could get both seats re-done, I'll be happy.
Its been a bit so let me give some updates since June 9th.. a lot has happened.
2021-05-25: Brought the truck to DHD (Dirty Hooker Diesel) and while there they did the following:
Diagnosed why it was always spilling out black smoke: $125 (labor:125 parts:0)
Replaced bad stock turbo with a Danville 63.5mm VGT-N, billet coolant block off-n, up-pipe gasket and blots-N, turbo oil feed banjo-N: $3463.92 (labor:1250 parts:2213.92)
Replaced upper and lower balljoints on both
Talked to Rich today around 2 and he said new turbo is in, they are working on the ball joints and getting the alignment done this afternoon.
Tomorrow (Thursday) all they have left is the gauges.
Right now it feels pretty positive I’m getting my truck sometime tomorrow.
Yesterday I received my dash cluster back from Circuit Medics from changing the soldered on bulbs to LED bulbs and wow does it make a huge difference and they were fast. When Fed-Ex dropped it off it was one business day for them to fix it and ship it out. Very happy with my decision to send it.
