Guest Bio

Josiah Roe

I am a visual storyteller and product designer. I believe that how you do what you do is as important as what you do. I believe that life is short, the world is big, and that i want to explore as much of it as I can before it gets dark.

In my 13 years as a designer and creative manager, I’ve been fortunate to work on projects for Granular, AcreValue, Google, Google Ventures, Sony, HP, YouTube, Nest, Earthjustice, American Express, redbox, Kink, Kraft, Snapfish, Leap Motion, Ekso Bionics, Jansport, iMeet, Adap.TV, and Slavery Footprint. I have also led teams in the creation of tools for assisting interactive development and design projects: Forwardhq.com, Markup.io, and UseTorpedo.com.

In my last several years as a photographer and writer, my work has been featured in The Outbound, Ritz-Carleton Magazine, VanLife Magazine, Esquire, 7×7, Getaround, Freemans Collective, SFist, and the Huffington Post.
