From front to back By the staff of Dirt Wheels

UTV seats are one of those aftermarket accessories you don’t really need but you are happy you found out about them and purchased a set. Once you try aftermarket seats, there’s no turning back to stock. This is the moment your OEM seat gets relegated as an extra chair for the office, a bar stool for your outdoor kitchen or your kid’s video-game chair. For this guide, we asked the top UTV seat manufacturers to present two samples of their latest and greatest seats. We have tried them all and can give these brands our full seal of approval, and you should, too.

BS SAND www.bssand.com

PERFORMANCE

Price: $550

The Performance seat has a taller, slimmer profile with more cushion under the driver or passenger. At the sides, the bolsters are open, so you can lay your lap belts over the seat without sitting on them or fumbling for them. You can choose extras, such as goggle pockets at $80 or a heated option for $130.

EXTREME

Price: $550

All BS Sand UTV seats are fully color customizable down to the stitching. The Extreme bucket seat has a thinner seat cushion, which is perfect for taller riders or those with limited headroom. This made-in-the-U.S. seat has slotted sides to help keep track of your lap belts. The heated option is available on the Extreme for $130.

PRO ARMOR www.proarmor.com

G-FORCE

Price: $549.95

The Pro Armor G-Force Pro suspension seat has been designed featuring marine-grade vinyl and UV protection for long life. Wide bolsters provide ease of entry while giving you the support you need out on your ride.  Each seat is designed with a detachable seat cushion in order to clean out your vehicle with ease. Fitments include the RZR Pro XP, Pro R, Turbo R and Can-Am X3.

LIMITED EDITION

Price: $479.95

This seat is designed with wide bolsters that provide ease of entry for all body types while still giving you the support you need out on your ride. Each seat is built with the same attention to quality as other Pro Armor products, using vibrant marine-grade vinyl and military-spec parachute cording. Fitments include XP 1000, XP Turbo, Polaris General and Can-Am X3.

ANEMIA SUBSONIC BENCH III

Price: $1,260.95

Another option for a bench seat is the three-place version that will turn your four-seater into a five-seater. Their seat design makes it easily adapted to any type of off-road vehicle, with mounts available for most UTV models (e.g., Polaris, Can-Am, Kawasaki, Honda). Made in the USA, fitment includes the Can-Am Maverick X3 and Polaris RZR Pro XP/Turbo R/Pro R.

LAMBO SUBSONIC BENCH II

Price: $1,197.95

MB2 Seats gives you much more room in the back of a four-seater. There’s a removable bottom cushion with submarine belt slots. This seat design is easily adapted to any type of off-road vehicle, and they have mounts available for the Can-Am Maverick X3 and Polaris RZR Pro XP/Turbo R/Pro R.

SIMPSON www.simpsonraceproducts.com

PRO SPORT/AGGRESSOR

Price: $648.95/$360.95

The Pro Sport is 2 inches wider than their standard Vortex in key areas with extra-broad shoulders for ultimate comfort and containment in full-sized UTVs. Smaller UTVs like the Polaris 170/150 and 200 can rely on the Aggressor, which is a direct bolt-in replacement for those machines. It is available in several color options, or it can be custom ordered in a wide variety of colors and materials to complement any brand UTV.

VORTEX

Price: $545.95

The Vortex II provides high containment while still allowing for easy entry and exit with its cutaway lower-bolster design. It is designed to work with the factory slider without raising the seat height. Optional seat heaters and adjustable lumbar supports are available. The Vortex II is designed to create more legroom and more steering-wheel clearance, especially for machines with limited cabin space.
