No matter where and how you adventure, navigation is of the utmost importance. And nowadays, we have access to all kinds of technology to help us on journies with performance metrics, minute-to-minute data, and more. The new Garmin Instinct 3 lineup is now available with both Solar and AMOLED models that provide an incredible range of information in a durable, adventure-ready package.
Each model of the Instinct 3 watch features a metal-reinforced bezel, a tough fiber-reinforced polymer case, a scratch-resistant lens, and a built-in flashlight. That’s right, a built-in flashlight that includes multiple brightness levels and a strobe mode. You can navigate with confidence utilizing the 3-axis compass, barometric altimeter, and multi-band GPS with SatIQ technology. The incredible SatIQ not only provides incredibly accurate GPS readings but also optimizes battery life to extend the watch’s performance. The Incident Detection provides an added level of safety, and you can call or text emergency contacts, plus provide your live location when the watch is paired with your smartphone. You don’t need to worry about the Instinct 3 caving under pressure. It’s engineered to MIL-STD-810 standards for thermal and shock resistance and is also 10 ATM water-rated.
Even when you aren’t exploring the backcountry, the Instinct 3 lineup helps you prepare for the next trip with fitness and health-focused features, including wrist-based heart rate tracking, advanced sleep monitoring, Pulse Ox, and more. With the Garmin Connect app, you can even develop custom-built workouts and send them directly to the watch face to keep you on track. Even day to day, the Instinct 3 provides excellent functionality with text capability and GarminPay.
The Instinct 3 Offers Options for Everyone
The Garmin Instinct 3 is offered with two displays, two sizes, and different colors depending on the display and size combo. The AMOLED (active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) model has an incredibly vibrant display. The 45mm watch features a 1.2-inch screen and up to 18 days of battery life. The larger 50mm offers a slightly larger 1.3-inch display but an impressive 24-day battery life.
The Solar models offer slightly smaller displays, 0.9-inch on the 45mm version and 1.1-inch on the 50mm model. While the Solar models’ display only offers two colors, the battery life is incredible. The 45mm averages a battery life of up to 28 days in smartwatch mode and 65 days in battery-saver mode. Bumping up to the 50mm solar model pushes those numbers to 40 and 100 days, respectively. However, the most impressive stat is that with 3 hours per day of outdoor wear and 50k lux charging conditions, the battery life is practically unlimited.
No matter which model suits your style of adventure, the Garmin Instinct 3 is ready to handle the journey ahead. Stay fit, stay connected, and stay on course with tons of functionality at hand or technically on your wrist.
