Awasi Lodges, a collection of properties located across Argentina, Brazil, and Chile, has introduced a fleet of 38 INEOS Grenadier automobiles to its properties in Atacama and Patagonia. The lodges, which prioritize privacy and serenity while celebrating the natural surroundings, also offer guest excursions such as sunrise at Licancabur Volcano, observing guanacos in Patagonia, or visiting Alto Loa villages in the Altiplano. The new INEOS Grenadier fleet will bring a new dimension to the way Awasi delivers exploration of its Chilean lodges.
“At Awasi, we are devoted to creating journeys that are profoundly personal and human-led,” said Nicolas Peluffo, Awasi’s chief executive officer. “Our collaboration with INEOS Grenadier amplifies this vision. These vehicles will provide our guests with the reliability, comfort, and adventurous elegance needed to explore Patagonia and Atacama deeply, while honoring our commitment to crafting meaningful connections with extraordinary places.”
This relationship represents INEOS Grenadier’s first significant collaboration of this scale in the luxury hospitality sector, blending the platform’s rugged British spirit and design, German engineering, and the off-pavement capability, durability, reliability, and modern comfort customers expect wherever they are in the world. “Together with Awasi, we are bringing the INEOS Grenadier to Chile’s most extraordinary landscapes,” said INEOS Automotive Executive Vice President Gregor Hembrough. “Built for the toughest conditions without compromising comfort, these vehicles perfectly complement Awasi’s human-led, personalized approach to exploration.”
Chosen as one of the Telegraph’s 50 best hotels in the world, Awasi tailors each guest’s stay, assigning every room a private guide and a 4WD vehicle, allowing guests the freedom to explore at their own pace and according to their individual interests. Additionally, Awasi collaborates with the local community, providing internships and offering students their first work experience. At the Atacama lodge, the Excursions Team conducts workshops with low-income rural schools from the surrounding community, providing kids and teenagers with tools to enter tourism-oriented industries.
