450 QUALIFYING RESULTS // 2024 DENVER SUPERCROSS

450 Riders have hit the track in Denver for the next race of the 2024 Supercross series. Jett Lawrence has been fast the past few weekends and usually tops the qualifying list in the last laps of the session. Last weekend his brother Hunter Lawrence was the top qualifier and has been building back from an injury earlier in the season. Cooper Webb has been fast in qualifying recently as well but has faded in the races the past few weekends. Webb needs to start grabbing some wins if he wants to stop Jett Lawrence’s dominance. This weekend it all begins in qualifying.

450 QUALIFYING SESSION 1 GROUP A

Jason Anderson was slow to grab a quick lap as it came late in the first session.

Usually, riders don’t get a gate drop in the first session but this week was a bit different. Jett Lawrence started slower as he normally does to get a look at the track and see the way lines are developing. Despite his slow start he was able to grab the fastest time on the track early, breaking into the 55-second range where the majority of the pack was around 57 seconds. Chase Sexton started to climb the ranks as he started to put in some fast times he would sit directly behind Lawrence. However, towards the end of the session, Chase Sexton would take the lead breaking into the 54-second range. Though it would not last, as Jett Lawrence in true fashion would take the top spot back away in the final laps of the session.
