Forestry.com Ranked the Best ATV and UTV Trails for 2024

There are all sorts of apps and navigation tools to help find the best trails and off-roading in almost any area, but there’s another option if you prefer to go old-school to find your UTV/ATV trails. Forestry.com recently introduced its 2024 “ultimate guide” to the best trails in the US, delivering 10 solid options to get you into the woods and behind the wheel.

The publication’s list for 2024 includes:

While this list is obviously far from comprehensive, Forestry.com said its choices stand out for having great scenery, challenging trails, and easy accessibility. It also gave its criteria for picking “great” trails, saying that you should keep track of weather and the season, local laws and regulations, any scenery or attractions you want to see, and the trail’s difficulty level.

As always, under-preparation can have serious consequences. The site recommends carrying the proper gear, including helmets, gloves, and eye protection. You should also make sure your vehicle is well maintained and ready for what lies ahead. Respect the trail and other riders, and be prepared for emergency situations with first-aid and tool kits. Finally, keep track of weather and any local notifications on the trail conditions and dangers like flooding or wildfires.
